Founded on January 4, 1999 as a subsidiary of the Sahaviriya Group — Thailand’s leading steel industry conglomerate — WCE has grown from a specialist maintenance firm into a full-spectrum engineering powerhouse serving over 500 business partners across diverse industrial sectors worldwide.

25 Years of Growth and Innovation
WCE was established in January 1999 with an initial registered capital of THB 50 million, under the full ownership of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL (SSI), Southeast Asia’s largest hot-rolled steel producer. Over the past quarter-century, the company has consistently expanded its capabilities and invested in cutting-edge technology. In 2021, the registered capital was increased to THB 120 million to support the launch of two new business units: Rail Technology Engineering and Robotics & Automation Technology — a strategic move that positions WCE at the forefront of Thailand’s industrial modernization agenda.
Today, WCE serves customers across steel, paper, cement, energy, petrochemical, agricultural, and public infrastructure sectors — both domestically and internationally. The company operates its headquarters in Bangkok, a state-of-the-art factory in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and satellite sales offices in Ratchaburi, Khon Kaen, Lopburi, and Ayutthaya.

| MET | Maintenance Engineering Technology Proactive and preventive maintenance, annual shutdowns, and long-term service contracts (1–5 years) for industrial facilities. Covers mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems. |
| MTE | Machinery Technology Engineering Engineering design, machinery optimization, and precision spare parts manufacturing to international standards. Provides technical consulting and performance improvement services. |
| CTE | Construction Technology Engineering Full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) services for industrial facilities, bridges, steel structures, renewable energy (Solar Rooftop), and M&E building systems — including Turnkey Project delivery. |
| RAT | Robotics & Automation Technology Industrial robot integration, AI-powered Smart Factory systems, automated warehouse solutions (TAWS), Vision-guided robotics, welding robots, and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMs). |
| RTE | Rail Technology Engineering Design, manufacturing, maintenance, and overhaul of diesel railcars, freight wagons, and rail components for the State Railway of Thailand (SRT). Includes Bogie Container Flat Wagon production and depot infrastructure development. |

The company is further distinguished by its ASME U, S, R & PP Stamps — globally recognized certifications for pressure vessel and power boiler manufacturing — as well as the MiT (Made in Thailand) label and the Automation Machinery Builder (AMB) standard.
