WCE Partners with Sahaviriya Group and Bang Saphan Fishermen’s Network to Release Marine Fish, Building Sustainable Communities and Environment

On February 14, 2026, West Coast Engineering Co., Ltd. (WCE), in collaboration with Sahaviriya Group companies and the Bang Saphan Fishermen’s Network, organized the “Protecting Our Oceans Together” initiative to release marine fish, restoring ocean resources and creating stability for local fishing communities at the multipurpose area in front of Mae Ramphueng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.

Tri-Sector Collaboration for Sustainable Thai Oceans

The event was presided over by Mr. Nimit Wongjinda, District Chief of Bang Saphan, with Mr. Nanthachai Sukkuea, President of the Bang Saphan Fishermen’s Network, reporting on the initiative’s objectives. The event reflects collaboration among the private sector, government agencies, and local communities in restoring natural resources that serve as the foundation of fishermen’s livelihoods.

The project has three main objectives:

✅ Enhance Marine Resources – Promote natural breeding and restore marine ecosystems

✅ Create Livelihood Security for Communities—Abundant marine resources form the foundation of long-term economic stability for fishermen

✅ Build Awareness and Participation – Foster shared consciousness and responsibility in ocean conservation
