Description: Engineering on site service and repair of liner for telescopic grinding no.2 using a Portable Milling Machine by WCE’s Machinery technology and Engineering Solutions (MTS) Unit. The MTS unit of WCE recently undertook an onsite repair project for a liner on the telescopic grinding machine No.2 at a client’s location. The process involved disassembling the telescopic plate head and foot sides and inspecting the wear on the liner tracks using a CMM. Following the inspection, a portable milling machine was used to mill the worn liner sections, removing 1-2 millimeters of material over a length of 10 meters. After the milling process, a final inspection was conducted using the CMM to ensure precision. The entire operation was completed within 4 days.
